1989
On January 6, Alvatour Turismo was founded in the city of Recife, in Brazil. Alvatour initially served the northeastern market with travel consulting; sales of air tickets, tours, trips and excursions; reception and transfer services; assistance to tourists and travelers; organization and execution of travel incentive programs; corporate travel services, and more.1997
On September 5, Alvatour expanded its horizons with the opening of its store in South Florida addressing the demand of a large emerging community of Brazilian residents in the United States.
